President Eisenhower and Vice-President Nixon
Valiant Thor, a universal emissary, arrives to Earth on March 16, 1957 to meet President Eisenhower, along with VP Richard Nixon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, CIA, FBI and NSA directors. Thor, acting on behalf of a Galactic Council of Twelve, hands the President a cosmic proposal. The proposal focuses on the dangers of atomics, pollution, the benefits of free energy, and the elimination of poverty and disease to improve quality of life. Valiant Thor is then put on VIP status for three years to discuss, oversee, and potentially implement the plan. The Washington brass eventually learn that Thor is a created being, a man with divine powers, not born of man and woman, and cannot be killed.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff want Valiant Thor’s flying saucer technology. AF General Browning is a member of MJ-12, and the alien tech they have in their possession at Area 51, fails in comparison to Thor’s organic Victor Class Saucer Fleet. These craft are living intelligent beings. The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff later retires. General Browning then takes his place and promotes AF Vice Chief of Staff Davin Dervill with the caveat: to get Thor’s organic technology at any cost.
Valiant Thor believes he is making progress with the intergalactic proposal. But things take a bad turn when Browning and the MJ-12 cabinet escort President Eisenhower to a secret underground facility at Area 51. There, Eisenhower is introduced to the leader of the Quyine race from Orion. The Quyine offer the United States superior technological advances, in exchange for subterranean land deeds, along with other questionable demands. If Eisenhower does not accept the deal, the Quyine will take their offer to other global superpowers.
In a last ditch effort to force Thor into compliancy, Browning orders Dervill to contact the ‘Empyrean’, the head of the Secret Shadow Society “SSS”, a group of thirteen men that rule the world from behind the corporate curtain. The Empyrean is the ultimate ruling power on Earth and is aligned with the malevolent Quyine race. They have groomed him on how to stop Thor and have even armed him with advanced star-based weapons: a handgun that kills created beings, Erebus machines capable of blocking Thor’s powers, and a brainwashing chair to modify his consciousness.
Will the Empyrean control Thor for his nefarious purposes? Will Browning and Dervill obtain Thor’s Victor Class Fleet blueprints? Will Eisenhower accept Thor’s proposal? What is the fate of Earth? Who will tell the ‘Stranger at the Pentagon’ story–in the cover-up, of all government cover-ups!?

Dappere Thor, een universele afgezant, arriveert op 16 maart 1957 op aarde om president Eisenhower te ontmoeten, samen met VP Richard Nixon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, CIA, FBI en NSA-directeuren. Thor, handelend namens een Galactische Raad van Twaalf, overhandigt de president een kosmisch voorstel. Het voorstel richt zich op de gevaren van atoomenergie, vervuiling, de voordelen van gratis energie en het uitbannen van armoede en ziekte om de levenskwaliteit te verbeteren. Dappere Thor krijgt vervolgens de VIP-status voor drie jaar om het plan te bespreken, te overzien en mogelijk uit te voeren. De Washington-koper komt er uiteindelijk achter dat Thor een geschapen wezen is, een man met goddelijke krachten, niet geboren uit man en vrouw, en niet kan worden gedood.

Maar de zaken nemen een slechte wending wanneer Browning en het MJ-12-kabinet president Eisenhower begeleiden naar een geheime ondergrondse faciliteit in Area 51. Daar wordt Eisenhower voorgesteld aan de leider van het Quyine-ras uit Orion. De Quyine bieden de Verenigde Staten superieure technologische vooruitgang, in ruil voor ondergrondse landakten, samen met andere twijfelachtige eisen. Als Eisenhower de deal niet accepteert, zullen de Quyine hun aanbod naar andere wereldwijde supermachten brengen.
In een laatste wanhopige poging om Thor tot gehoorzaamheid te dwingen, beveelt Browning Dervill om contact op te nemen met de ‘Empyrean’, het hoofd van de Secret Shadow Society “SSS”, een groep van dertien mannen die de wereld regeren van achter het zakelijke gordijn. De Empyrean is de ultieme heersende macht op aarde en is afgestemd op het kwaadaardige Quyine-ras. Ze hebben hem geleerd hoe hij Thor kan stoppen en hebben hem zelfs bewapend met geavanceerde op sterren gebaseerde wapens: een pistool dat geschapen wezens doodt, Erebus-machines die Thors krachten kunnen blokkeren, en een hersenspoelstoel om zijn bewustzijn te veranderen.
