Something in Our Heart
Breathes through all the space between the stars

Something
in our heart
breathes through all the space
between the stars
every moment we’re alive,
and something
in the silence
is always there inside us
through the endless change,
helping us bring something to this world
that only we could bring.

Life’s an endless river
flowing through us,
weaving us
within the Universe,
and as all the moments pass
they’re gone forever,
like whispers fading in the wind
that sighs in nearby trees
and through our heart.

And in all the fleeting transience
of every day
the love we bring
is like a silent song
that has no end
and no beginning
an unwritten language
forever dancing in the dreams we share
while life is here inside us.

We don’t live for ever
but our heart lives in the stars
and never dies.
