Beyond the Visible
All the beauty lost, and sometimes found again

“Consciousness is a singular for which there is no plural” — Erwin Schrodinger
Sometimes the eternal
brings a moment essential to my soul,
as though a secret path suddenly revealed
a conscious silence
always present underneath
the endless change of every day,
subtle, formless,
a hidden flower of light,
insights from a silent mystery
somewhere just beyond the visible,
and when I’m in reflective space,
present to the silence,
dissolved, surrendered
to the moment’s languid swirl,
as though unhindered
by life within a human frame,
sudden intuitions, fleeting,
filled with meaning,
silent whispers, inspirations,
heal my heart
and all the beauty lost in life
is found again.
The conscious silence
always finds somehow
a way to heal us,
as though the eternal were woven
all through every moment,
yearning to know itself
as human,
know the beauty
sometimes lost in human life,
sometimes found again,
while always,
just beyond any word
we could ever say,
and hidden from our gaze,
the eternal is healing us
with all the light becoming life,
the beauty no eye can see
but every heart knows,
the knowing that can’t be said,
the unwritten poetry
blended through
the conscious fabric of our world.
And when the now and here
forever disappear,
and there’s only the eternal silence,
the silent poetry of love,
the unspoken word
leaving nothing left unsaid,
nothing unknown,
the unseen silence always just beyond
any word we could ever say,
reveals the meaning
of the moments shared,
the love we found,
the beauty we helped bring,
through all the time without an end
or any beginning.
