What happens if you shrink the entire history of the universe into 10 minutes? Watch as millions of years fly by in seconds, and human history is reduced to just a single frame at the end of the experience, showcasing just how old and vast our universe is. In 2018 I released Timelapse of the Entire Universe, an experimental video that compressed all of time into a 10 minute scale, pieced together from a spectrum of different visual sources. 8 years later and I have finally developed the skills to reimagine this video in my own style and my own words. It’s narrated by my friend Toby, aka EpicSpaceMan.

Kazakhstan Advances Przewalski’s Horse Restoration with Wild Release and New Arrivals

ASTANA – A group of Przewalski’s horses was released into the wild at the Altyn Dala State Nature Reserve on May 25, marking an important milestone in efforts to return the rare species to its historical range and restore a sustainable population in Kazakhstan.

Loophaaien – Walking sharks – new species discovered off Papua New Guinea

De lokale bevolking is al lange tijd op de hoogte van de vreemde vis, die ze soms bij eb over de rifvlakten zien waggelen. Ze noemen hem kadedekedewa, wat ‘hondenhaai’ of ‘luie haai’ betekent.

Haaien van het geslacht Hemiscyllium, ook wel bekend als loophaaien of epauletthaaien, gebruiken hun borstvinnen als poten om zich voort te bewegen en komen voor zover bekend alleen voor in Australië en Nieuw-Guinea.
