Like the Wind and Sky … All through our heart

Sometimes the universe
sings all through our heart,
free like the wind
and the wind-blown ocean,
and its song across our inner sky
is a song with no end
and no beginning,
it’s the silent whisper of the timeless,
the eternal in all of us
writing the hidden poetry of life
into every moment.

Our intuitive ear
hears this conscious silence
bringing meaning into now,
the universal soul
beneath the surface of the everyday
gifting us clarity and wisdom,
helping us remember
we’re woven through each other,
travelers of the inner way,
gardeners of the heart,
while everything we think
and feel and say
streams into nothingness
and memory.

And while moments of our life
vanish like drifting shadows in a mist,
disappearing like fleeting ocean waves
conjured by a restless wind,
life is larger than it seems
and something in our heart
weaves us through the universe,
a song of silence and eternity,
known like love is known,
known like we know beauty,
a knowing that can’t be said,
the love that knows all love is one.
